Aster is a newer community in south Edmonton’s Heritage Valley area, laid out with a network of ponds and walking paths running through it rather than around the edges. Construction is still active in parts of the neighbourhood, with new phases opening as the area fills in toward Ellerslie Road.
Expect new single-family and duplex construction on curving, cul-de-sac-heavy streets designed around the pond system — a different layout than the more grid-like newer communities elsewhere in south Edmonton.
