Alces takes its name from the Latin genus for moose, part of a wildlife-themed street naming convention that runs through this stretch of south Edmonton’s Heritage Valley. It’s one of the more recently opened communities in the area, with several phases of construction still underway.
Expect new single-family and duplex homes on larger-than-average lots for a new-build community, with a slightly lower density than some of the more compact newer subdivisions further north in Heritage Valley.
